El Medano (Granadilla de Abona) is one of the most special tourist destinations that you can find in the south of the island of Tenerife. This town is the main tourist town of the municipality and is located just 15 minutes drive from Tenerife South Airport (the main airport of the island). In the same municipality of El Médano is the beach of La Tejita. This sandy beach is a natural spot of unique conditions. With more than 1 km long and 100 meters wide, it is the longest white sand beach in Tenerife. In addition, the natural environment that surrounds it takes the visitor's breath away. With a horizon marked by La Montaña Roja, a reddish volcanic formation that is a protected natural area. BEWARE! NUDISM

An important detail to take into account before going on vacation to the beach of La Tejita is that in the area closest to the Montaña Roja nudism is common in total tranquility.
